Rational design concepts of Engineered Ceramics with Integrated catalytically active metal sites For electrochemical Energy conversion

The Project

The RECIFE project aims to develop and construct a new class of water-splitting electrode materials based on non-noble transition metals and engineered ceramics by combining material modeling, machine learning and advanced design and characterization concepts.

RECIFE recieved funding from the French ANR and the German DFG and involves three teams from IRCER (CNRS, Univ. Limoges, France), LSKW (Univ. Bayreuth, Germany) and IPCMS (CNRS, Univ. Strasbourg, France).
